Desislava Beleva is a lawyer with the Plovdiv Bar Association, with over 20 years of experience in providing legal consultancy to companies. In 2022, she completed the first master’s program in Responsible and Sustainable Management in Bulgaria, at Sofia University, and specializes in supporting businesses in implementing sustainability and corporate social responsibility principles. She assists organizations in navigating the regulatory landscape and integrating ESG principles into their governance and reporting.

She provides consultation to small and medium-sized enterprises, non-governmental organizations, and companies from various industries, working on issues related to responsible corporate governance, the creation of “green” jobs, and the development of effective ESG strategies.

In 2025, Beleva became a certified facilitator of the 2030 SDGs Game – an international educational simulation developed by the Japanese organization Imacocollabo, which helps participants understand the interconnections between the economy, society, and the environment, and to experience first-hand how collaborative action can contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Beleva is a member of the Sustainability Specialists Association and BESCO, actively participating in initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of sustainable development issues and promoting good corporate practices.
