Olya Peneva is a business and human rights specialist and the founder of the Bulgarian Foundation for Business and Human Rights—the first organisation in Bulgaria dedicated to the intersection of business and human rights. She believes that placing people at the center is essential to addressing global challenges and ensuring sustainable solutions. Olya's work applies an interdisciplinary approach to examining the social and environmental impacts of business practices, striving to foster accountability and sustainable development. She holds a law degree from Monash University, Australia, and specialised in business and human rights during her master’s studies at the EMA Global Campus in Venice, Italy.
