Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milena Angelova will moderate the second panel of iN Sofia 2025, dedicated to regulations and industrial competitiveness. The discussion will explore how businesses can adapt to the green transition without losing economic resilience and access to raw materials.
Angelova holds a PhD in Economics and is a long-standing expert in industrial policy. Since 2002, she has been the Secretary General of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association and represents Bulgaria in the European Economic and Social Committee, where she has also served as its Vice-President. She is the author of numerous analyses in the fields of industry, employment, and the circular economy.
She advocates the position that the green transition must be economically feasible, not merely imposed by regulation, and that a stable industry is the backbone of every successful economy.
